Derek Percy

Derek Ernest Percy (died 23 July 2013) was an Australian child killer, linked to the deaths of nine children in the 1960s.[1] He was found not guilty, by reason of insanity, of the murder of Yvonne Tuohy, and he was suspected in the double murder of Marianne Schmidt and Christine Sharrock and the triple murder of the Beaumont siblings, as well as the individual murders of Allen Redston, Linda Stilwell, and Simon Brook.[2] After being arrested for the murder of 12-year-old Yvonne Tuohy in 1969, Percy stated that he could not remember whether or not he had committed any further crimes.[3][4] Percy died on 23 July 2013, without admitting to any of the crimes.[5] In October 2014, after his death, he was formally ruled to have abducted and killed seven-year-old Linda Stilwell in 1968.[6]
