Deport Racism Organization

Not to be confused with DeportRacism.com, the non-profit U.S. political action committee (PAC) dedicated to "fighting anti-Latino, anti-Arab, anti-muslim and anti-immigrant racism" in the 2016 election. Its first shareable viral video was issued in Nov. 2015.

The Deport Racism Organization (Greek: Κίνηση Απελάστε το Ρατσισμό, sometimes referred to as KAR - by its Greek initials), founded in 2007, is an organization of immigrants and Greek citizens against racism and neo-fascism.

Their aims include the legalization of immigrants, asylum for refugees, citizenship for the children of immigrants, equal political and social rights for all, allowing migrant workers into trade unions and the dissolution of fascist organizations.[1]

In April 2010, the organization protested about police raids in Athens.[2][3]

During the prefectural pre-election period (October 2010), KAR presented evidence [4] of fascist organization "Hrysi Avgi" (Golden Dawn) participating and organising the attacks against Alekos Alavanos - canditate for Attika prefecture - and Eleni Portaliou - candidate for the municipality of Athens, both SYRIZA members.[5]
