DYMX, branded as 95.5 Star FM Cebu, is a commercial FM radio station owned and operated by Consolidated Broadcasting System, Inc. under Bombo Radyo Philippines in the Philippines. The station's studio, offices and transmitter are located at 140 M. Velez St., Cebu City. It operates 24 hours a day and except for Holy Week of each year where it signs-off from 3:00 PM of Maundy Thursday and lasts until 4:00 AM of Black Saturday. As of September 2016, the station is operating with a transmitting power of 5,000 watts with good signal reception.

History

95.5 Gentle Wind (1995-1998)

DYMX was originally broadcast in August 1995 as 95.5 Gentle Wind, which carrying Hot AC and OPM hits. It would compete with its Manila-based radio station The Gentle Wind 102.7 from May 1987 to August 1994. After almost 3 years, 95.5 Gentle Wind was signed-off in September 1998.

95.5 Star FM (1998-present)

In September 28,1998, Bombo Radyo Network rebranded the station as 95.5 Star FM. The new format played OPM songs, along with foreign songs and news. The station started with "masa" trend in FM stations. Presently, the station plays classics every Sunday, and the new hits and OPM every Monday to Saturday.

In Early 2015, Star FM Cebu and provincial stations remained launched its tagline, "It's All For You". It format played the particularly love songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's up to the present, along with new hits and OPM every Monday to Saturday at 4:00-6:00am and 4:00-6:00pm.
