The Cotton leafworm (Alabama argillacea, AKA cotton worm[1][2]) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is endemic to South and Central America as far south as northern Argentina, but migrates as far north as Canada, where it can be found in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Manitoba.
The wingspan is 30–35 mm.
The larva is considered a pest of cotton. They feed on the leaves, twigs and buds.
