Committee for State Security of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic

Committee for State Security of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic (Latvian: Latvijas Padomju Sociālistiskās Republikas Valsts drošības komiteja) or KGB of LSSR (Latvian: 'VDK') was criminal organization[1] in period of soviet occupation of Republic of Latvia, branch of Committe for State Security of USSR. Established in April 10, 1954 by soviet occupation forces, dissoluted on August 24, 1991.
