College of Osteopaths

The College of Osteopaths is a charitable trust that dates from 1948 and provides training leading to a Bachelor of Osteopathy or a Master of Osteopathy degree. The course is designed in part-time mode and spans five years. It is validated by two separate universities and thus, uniquely, offered in two locations in the United Kingdom. One programme of study is in collaboration with Middlesex University and is centred on north London and Borehamwood in Hertfordshire and the second in collaboration with Staffordshire University is based in Stoke-on-Trent. Both programs have been accredited with Recognised Qualification status (RQ) by the national statutory regulatory body The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

The College of Osteopaths also offers a three year fast-track pathway for health professionals such as physiotherapists or doctors who wish to qualify in osteopathy.

The College also offers a post-registration naturopathic qualification and an award in clinical education based on the completion of a modular programme of study.
