The rare maritime ringlet (Coenonympha nipisiquit) is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is a "species at risk" in Canada due to water pollution and its limited range.[1] Its range is restricted in Canada from New Brunswick to Quebec.[2]
About
The maritime ringlet is only found in the salt marshes of New Brunswick and Quebec, Canada.[3] The maritime ringlet is preyed on by birds and larger insects.
