Chotýčany (German Schmiedgraben) is a village and municipality (obec) in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.19 square kilometres (2.00 sq mi), and has a population of 207 (as at 31 December 2007).
Chotýčany lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of České Budějovice and 114 km (71 mi) south of Prague.
