Cholo pescador

Cholos pescadores are a social or ethnic group that live in Ecuador's Guayas Province and Manabí Province. They are descended from indigenous groups that lived on the coast, which were wiped out as political entities during the colonial era. Today cholos pescadores continue to engage in fishing as their primary economic activity.
