The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative of the Indian Department of Biotechnology to develop tools that could be used by researchers from the industry and from public institutions.[1]

C-CAMP is one of three members of the Bangalore Bio-Cluster, along with the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and the Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (inStem).[2]

Research and development

C-CAMP is envisioned to be a major platform technology, industry-interaction and incubator unit. C-CAMP acts as the provider and developer of high-end technologies in life sciences to enable scientific activity and entrepreneurship. C-CAMP allows investigators to use techniques as tools and not be limited by technological barriers while pursuing challenging scientific questions.
