Cedar City, Missouri

Cedar City is an unincorporated community in southern Callaway County, Missouri, USA. It is located at 38.600774, -91.926727,[1] opposite the Missouri River from the main part of Jefferson City and is near the interchange of U.S. Route 54 and U.S. Route 63. Jefferson City has annexed the interchange and is now next to Cedar City. It is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Cedar City was platted in 1870 and is named after the Eastern redcedar tree.[2] A post office called Cedar City has been in operation since 1870.[3]
