The Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) is a Caribbean intergovernmental organisation dedicated to facilitating the development of the regional telecommunications sector.[1]

History

On 28 April 1989, the Governments of the Member States of the Caribbean Community established by Treaty of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) to rationalise the telecommunications policy framework for the region and to address the problems of regional spectrum frequency incompatibilities.
