Bunnicula is an American animated television series from Warner Bros. Animation developed by Jessica Borutski, produced by Borutski and Maxwell Atoms,[1] and distributed by Warner Bros. Television. It premiered on Cartoon Network and Boomerang on February 6, 2016.[2][3] It is loosely based on the children's book series by James Howe and Deborah Howe.[4] The show is a dark comedy about a vampire rabbit who likes carrot juice instead of blood to strengthen up his super abilities in new paranormal adventures.[5]

New episodes air same-day on Cartoon Network and Boomerang, but the series is currently on hiatus on both networks.

On September 9, 2016, Boomerang announced that the series was renewed for a second season.

In Canada, the series started airing on Teletoon on April 2, 2016.[16] The series premiered on Boomerang in May 2, 2016 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[17]
