The Tonkin toad (Bufo pageoti) is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is found in southern China (Yunnan), north-east and western Myanmar, and northern Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rivers, and arable land. It is threatened by habitat loss and local abuse. It is a medium-sized toad, with males measuring about 64 mm (2.5 in) and females about 67 mm (2.6 in) in length.[2]
