British School of Marbella

The British School of Marbella (BSM) is an international school located in the Spanish city of Marbella. The school was opened in 2010 and is part of the British Schools Foundation. BSM follows the English National Curriculum and provides education for children in Early Years, Primary School and Secondary School. As the school continues to expand over the coming years, pupils will sit the IGCSE's and AS/A Levels to gain entry to universities across the world including the UK, USA and in Europe.

Location and facilities

BSM is located close to the centre of a Marbella. Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, a well-stocked library with both printed and digital resources, play areas including an astro-turf pitch and climbing frames for younger children

Administration

BSM is governed by the British Schools Foundation, a UK non-profit organisation which aims to promote quality British-style education worldwide. The day-to-day operation is overseen by the headteacher. The school is also an affiliate of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS)
