Brian K. Fitzpatrick (born December 17, 1973) is an American politician who was elected to serve Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives elections, 2016. He will take office on January 3, 2017.

Career

Fitzpatrick is a former Special Assistant United States Attorney and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervisory special agent in California. At the FBI, he served as a national supervisor for the Bureau's Public Corruption Unit, and led the agency's Campaign Finance and Election Crimes Enforcement program.[1]

An alumnus of La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University,[1] he returned to Pennsylvania to succeed his elder brother, retiring U.S. Representative Mike Fitzpatrick, who did not run in 2016 for re-election as he had promised to limit himself to four terms.[2][3]

Brian Fitzpatrick lives in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
