Bratton Clovelly is a village in West Devon, England. It is situated just to the north of the A30 road, about 8 miles (13 km) south-west of Okehampton.[1] Bratton Clovelly was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086.[2] The church is 15th-century, but with many attractive Norman features. The village stocks are kept in the belfry.

The village is thought to be the birthplace of influential 13th-century jurist Henry de Bracton; however, this claim is also made for at least two other places.
