Boven-Leeuwen, reformed church behind the dyke

Boven-Leeuwen is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 9 km east of Tiel.

In 2001, the town of Boven-Leeuwen had 1268 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.30 km², and contained 485 residences.[1] The statistical area "Boven-Leeuwen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2160.[2]
