The Biathlon World Championships 2020 are scheduled to take place in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, in 2020

Host selection

On 4 September 2016, Antholz-Anterselva won the voting (30 votes) during the 12th IBU Congress in Chisinau in Moldova over Pokljuka in Slovenia (15 votes) and Oberhof in Germany (4 votes). Also Nové Město na Moravě in the Czech Republic withdrew their bid for 2020 before the vote took place. The 2020 event will be staged in Antholz for the sixth time.^[1]
