Bhartiya Gau Raksha Dal

Bhartiya Gau Raksha Dal is an Indian right-wing umbrella organisation of the cow protectors, which operates in Punjab, Haryana, Telangana, UP, Bihar, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Founded in 2012 by Pawan Pandit, organisation claims to have 6,000 members and is headquartered in Delhi. Pandit serves as the chairman of organisation.[1][2][3]

The organisation campaign against cow killers, and has setup about 25 state cow protection groups.[4] Since 2014, the organization awards two titles, Hindu Ratna Awards and Gau Rakshak Samman Puraskar to cow protection volunteers.[5]
