Bhakunde is a Village Development Committee in Baglung District in the Dhaulagiri Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 4,952 among which 2,443 are female and male are 2,509. There about 831 houses in the village.[1] Elevations in this VDC range from 950 to 2,215 meters.

This village is very interesting and a good tourist spot. The famous Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna mountain ranges can be observed from the village. [2]
