Bevis Kristofer Kizito Mugabi[2] (born 1 May 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays for Yeovil Town, as a central defender.

Club career

After playing youth football for Fulham and Southampton,[3] Mugabi signed for Yeovil Town in August 2016.[4] He made his professional debut later that month, in a League Cup game against Walsall on 9 August.[5] He scored his first goal for Yeovil in an EFL Trophy tie against Portsmouth on 30 August 2016.[6]

International career

Mugabi is eligible to represent England or Uganda at international level.[7]

On 24 August 2016, Mugabi received his first call up to the Uganda national football team for their friendly against Kenya and their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Comoros,[8] but Mugabi was withdrawn from the squad by Yeovil Town with the club citing the short notice of the call-up as the reason for his withdrawal.[9]
