The Belgrade Military Parade, known as Korak pobednika ("Step/March of the Victor"), was a military parade on 16 October 2014, during the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade. The city was liberated from the hands of the Nazis by the Yugoslav Partisans with the help of the Red Army. It was the first military parade in the country for 30 years, and included 4,500 Serbian troops, as well as a minor number of Russian troops and the Russian aerobatic team, Swifts. Vladimir Putin was a guest of honour.[1] Participants in the parade were given awards for their participation, in December at Topčider.[2]
