Barsha Lekhi (Nepali:बर्षा लेखी) (born May 5, 1993 in Saptari, Nepal) is a beauty queen and an environmental activist.[1] She is the 2nd Runner Up of the Miss Nepal 2016 Beauty Contest[2] and had represented Nepal at the Miss International 2016 contest held in Japan on October 27, 2016.[3]
Barsha has finished her Environmental Science education from Patan Multiple Campus and she is has worked at NEFIN-REDD/CC Partnership Program.[4][5]
Career
Barsha has involved herself into many volunteer activities like clean up campaigns and research based on environmental studies. In 2016, Barsha participate in the Miss Nepal 2016 competition as contestant number 14 and she won the title of Miss Nepal International 2016. Apart from winning the Miss Nepal International title, she managed to win Miss Popular sub title.[6][7]

Barsha is the first Miss Nepal from a Tharu Community who received many positive responses.[8][9]

Barsha Lekhi will compete in Miss International 2016 pageant in Japan.
