Barneveldse Krant

The Barneveldse Krant is the only independent local newspaper of the Netherlands.

History and profile

Founded on 7 October 1871, the Barneveldse Krant is printed and published by the Royal Barneveldse Drukkerij en Uitgeverij in Barneveld.[1] The newspaper is printed 6 times per week, with a focus around advertisements on Thursday and special weekend pages on Saturday. The paper serves for Vallei en Veluwe and its Thursday edition is free of charge.[1]
