Aulad (English: Children) is a 1968 Bollywood, drama film produced & directed by Kundan Kumar on Kundan Films banner. Starring Jeetendra, Babita in the lead roles and music composed by Chitragupta Shrivastava.^{[2][3][4][5][6][7]}

Plot

Dinu is a farmer at Zamindar Kanta Prasad Gupta he lives a poor lifestyle with his wife Mamta and two sons, Mohan & Sohan. When Ramlal Munim to Zamindar comes to them to take Sohan for ten days to protect Shardadevi Gupta, wife of Zamindar who has been dying with depression for her long lasting son Arun, they reluctantly permit him to do so and sends Sohan as Arun. After 10 days, Zamindar himself approaches them and begs them to let his wife keep Sohan for life. They tearfully agree. Then Mohan gets into trouble, and Dinu scolds him and he runs away from the house, the search proves futile, and the couple continues to live a childless life and leaves the Village.

Now 17 years later, Bharati, with her father Major Gupta had come to that place to change the climate. One day accidentally she meets Arun and both of them fall into love. Mohan the elder son of Dinu, who had absconded from his place had become a Doctor, he has been attending to Major Gupta right from Calcutta. Mr. Gupta had decided to marry Bharati to Dr. Mohan, who did not like the intimacy between Bharati and Arun. But before he could rebuke her on that account he had come to know Arun is none other than his younger brother Sohan. Since he had promised Kamataprasad not to divulge that secret to Arun, he returned to Calcutta. The marriage of Arun & Bharati has been settled and the ceremony has to take place after the return of Zamindar's couple from Pashupatinath. But unfortunately there they find their long lasting child Suraj after 17 years. From the then attitude of Sharada Devi has been changed towards Arun. In spite of Zamindar's endeavor, it was disclosed on Arun that he was their adopted child, he leaves the house in search of his real parent.

At the same time, Mamta is seriously ill and asks Dinu to bring Sohan back. Dinu goes to the Zamindar's house where he meets a young man who identifies himself as the real son, Suraj, and informs him that Sohan has been asked to leave, devastated Dinu loses his memory and roams listlessly on the streets of Calcutta, unable to remember anything. The question is will Dinu and Mamta be united with their sons during their respective lifetime, and what has become of Mohan, and who exactly is Suraj?
