Aquelarre (Witches' Sabbath) is a Chilean telenovela produced by TVN. It was written by Fernando Aragón, Arnaldo Madrid, Nona Fernández and Hugo Morales. Directed by María Eugenia Rencoret.

Plot

It is the love story of Emilia (Sigrid Alegría) and Juan Pablo (Álvaro Rudolphy) belonging to families hate for various reasons. Inspired by "The House of Bernarda Alba" chronicles the events after a people of strange features. Aquelarre is located in central Chile and is distinguished from all others because more than thirty years ago that women breed inhabitants only, no man born within its limits. All men are thirty or more and those with less have come from outside.

Within the town three feuding families together control everything. Elena Vergara (Coca Guazzini) is chemically and has developed a substance that prevents born men. She has a son, Juan Pablo, who lives in Holland and back to town when you discover a leukemia. There he falls in love with Emilia, daughter of Bernardita (Maricarmen Arrigorriaga), enemy of Elena.

Emilia has had to take over the work of his late father and kept house and sisters who are all men's names because marriage has always expected a son.
