Antti Tapani Tuisku (born 27 February 1984) is a Finnish pop singer. He finished third in the 2003 Idols talent show, the Finnish version of Pop Idol.[1] Tuisku has sold over 300,000[2] records during his career in Finland.[3]

In 2016 Antti Tuisku won the Best Male Artist 2015 award at the Finnish music awards Emma Gaala. His latest album En Kommentoi was rewarded the Record of the Year and Best Pop Album of the Year awards.[4]

Career

En Kommentoi

fi:En Kommentoi, Antti Tuisku's 10th album, was released in May 2015. The album hit No.1 right after the release on The Official Finnish Charts. The album has spent 67 weeks in the top 20, 50 weeks in the top 10 and 9 weeks at No.1.[5] The album contains the hit singles Peto on irti, Blaablaa (En kuule sanaakaan), Keinutaan and Hiton pelkuri.

En Kommentoi Deluxe version was released in April 2016 containing new singles Party (papiidipaadi), Pyydä multa anteeks kunnolla and Suurin Fani. Pyydä multa anteeks kunnolla single was the most played song on Finnish radio in the summer of 2016.[6]

After the huge success of his 10th album and critically acclaimed record he started Peto on irti fall and summer tours around Finland. In April 2016 he sold out two concerts at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. The two concerts gathered together over 22 000 fans.[7]

Movies, TV, Clothing line

fi:Joulutarina, Christmas Story, was Antti Tuisku's first role on the big screen in 2007. He has also voiced Arthur in the movie Shrek the Third.[8]

Antti Tuisku won the Finnish version of Dancing with the Stars in 2010.[9]

He starred in the popular Vain Elämää television show's fourth season in 2015.

In April 2016 Antti Tuisku released his first clothing line Antti Tuisku By Seppälä in collaboration with the Finnish clothing brand Seppälä.[10]
