Antti Okkonen (born 6 June 1982) is a Finnish football player representing RoPS in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.[1]

Career

Club

Okkonen began his career at OLS in Oulu, before going on to play for MyPa, Landskrona BoIS, Silkeborg IF, Mons, HJK and RoPS.

During a 8-0 Suomen Cup victory for RoPS over JS Hercules on 29 March 2016, Okkonen suffered a broken leg.[2]

International

He has also gained 13 caps for the Finland national football team, his first being in a 0-0 draw against Barbados on 26 March 2003.

Personal life

Antti is the younger brother of former footballer Jarkko Okkonen.
