Angela Mak Soek Fun

Angela Mak Soek Fun is the chief financial officer and executive director of TOM Group (HKEx: 2383).

Early life and education

Angela Mak received her Bachelor of Commerce degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia.[1]

Career

Fun is a practicing solicitor in New South Wales, England and Wales and Hong Kong with more than 10 years of experience in managing corporate and commercial matters, Mak joined TOM in 2000 as General Counsel and Company Secretary in 2001 and was appointed Executive Director in March 2006. She has been the CFO of TOM since 1 February 2008 in addition to her role as Head Corporate General Counsel & Executive Director. Prior to TOM, she was the Senior Group Legal Counsel of Hutchison Whampoa Limited.[2]
