Amor cautivo(English title Prisoner of love )"", is a Mexican telenovela produced by TV Azteca in association with Corazón TV. It stars Marimar Vega and Arap Bethke as the main protagonists.[2] Filming starts on 6 May 2012.[3]It is based on Lejana como el viento by Laura Visconti.

In 2015,It premiered in Africa on the Eva Channel(141 English dub and 508 Portuguese dub) on DSTV. It was the first telenovela aired on Eva Africa, to amazing results and many audiances praised the telenovela becoming one of Azteca's most loved telenovela in recent years.It also marked the introduction of Marimar Vega and Arap Bethke whose stellar performance made this telenovela one to remember.

It began re-airing on Eva+(142 English dub and Portuguese dub on 509)as of 1st November 2016 to a much larger audiance creating a large online fan base with many citing it as one of their favourite novelas on Eva+.
