All Star K! was a karaoke game show in the Philippines that aired from January 13, 2002 to October 18, 2009. Launched originally as K! The 1 Million Peso Videoke Challenge, the program was a hit with the audience and received critical acclaim for being a one-of-a-kind game show that was culturally relevant to the Filipino audience. In 2004, the show was reformatted as a celebrity game show as All Star K!. This resulted in the shows successful seven-year run. Arnell Ignacio was the show's original host and was subsequently replaced by Jaya and Allan K in succeeding seasons.

Game Format

The game is played "KaraOke-style" wherein the seven players take turns singing lines from a pre-selected song. Each round, a computer-operated jukebox randomly selects a category and then randomly selects a song that the players have to sing. The songs will be played with missing words and the players must fill in the blank correctly in order to ensure staying in the game. Each correct guess equals a certain cash prize and as the group of players sing correctly, the pot gets bigger. The round ends when the song ends and whoever the computer "tallies" as the one who did the worst for the round is eliminated. This cycle continues for five rounds (until two players remain).

Final Round

The two remaining contestants will compete for the chance to get to the jackpot round. The round starts with three mystery songs and once the category of the three songs are announced, the players will have to buzz in as whoever buzzes in first will have the option to sing the songs and answer all the blanks correctly or pass it to the other player in hopes that he/she wouldn't guess the blanks correctly. Whoever wins this round goes to the jackpot.

Jackpot round

The lone player standing, in order to play for jackpot of one million pesos, must surrender the pot money the group has acquired all throughout the game. The player will be given the song category before making this decision. If the player chooses to go forward, he or she must sing the pre-selected song and guess all 11 blanks within the song correctly. Every correct blank corresponds to a prize but the seventh to the tenth blanks are always of very high value. Anytime the player incorrectly guesses that game is over. At the tenth blank the song is paused and the player is once again asked whether to keep on playing or stop the game and take home all the money he or she has accumulated in the round. If the player chooses to continue, the song is played again with the last blank longer than others (as usually blanks just cover one to two words) and if the guess if correct, the player takes home the million peso prize.

Celebrity winners

There are already five celebrities who have won the 1-million peso jackpot since the show's beginning. Regine Velasquez won twice, Mark Tupaz of Shamrock, StarStruck Kids avenger Sandy Talag won as she bravely sang the song "Through The Fire" of Chaka Khan, EB Babe Belle and the latest millionaire is Aiza Seguerra, who won on February 10, 2008. Iwa Moto and Sheena Halili have also won twice but didn't get the Jackpot.
