Alison Wright (born 12 July 1976) is an English actress, best known for her role as Martha Hanson on The Americans.

Early life

Wright was born and raised in Sunderland. She began dancing at a young age. She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.[1]

Career

She made her television debut in 2013 as Martha Hanson on The Americans. She was promoted to a series regular for season 2, which premiered in January 2014.[2] Headline Talent Agency sued Wright in July 2013.[3]
