Alex Taylor (born Wanaka, Otago, New Zealand in 1990) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays for Stirling County as a Number Eight.[2][3]

Amateur level

Having started his rugby at school, Taylor moved on to play for Invercargill Blues. Having moved to Scotland, Taylor now plays for Stirling County.[4][5] [6]

Professional level

Taylor played provincial rugby in New Zealand before moving to Scotland.[4] He played for Southland alongside John Hardie. He also played 7s for Southland.[7] In 2015, he left New Zealand to go to Scotland.

Taylor played for Glasgow Warriors against Canada 'A' on the 30 August 2016.[8][9][10]

International career

He has represented New Zealand at schoolboy and age grade level.[11]
