Aanpavam (Tamil: ஆண்பாவம்) is an Tamil soap opera that aired on Sun TV.[1] The show premiered on 3 February 2012 and aired Monday through Friday at 10:00PM IST. In this serial Rajesh and Meera Krishnan are playing the role as father and mother; Barath Kalyan, Raaj Kamal, Venkat, Satish are the sons. Pairing with them are Indraja, Jayshree, Gowri, Lakshmi, Ishwarya. Others who play important roles are Tamiz Mani, Bombay Babu, Suji Bala, Pandi, Magima. The Show Directed by T.C. Bala and producer Sathya Jyothi Flims T.G. Thyagarajan. The show last aired on 15 June 2012 and ended with 93 episodes because of its low trp ratings.[2][3][4][5][6]

Plot

The story revolves around, the family of a couple Gopalswamy ( Rajesh) and Mahalakshmi (Meera Krishnan) with four sons (Barath Kalyan, Raaj Kamal, Venkat, Satish) and the problems they face in their lives.

About Serial

Since most of the serials in Tamil shows the trouble the women face with cruel mothers in law and unkind husbands the serial "Aan paavam", depicts the other side, like how husbands are tortured by wives.
