    4318 Baťa is an outer main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 2111.1800177 days (5.78 years).[1]

    Discovery and name

    The asteroid was discovered by famous Czech astronomer Zdeňka Vávrová on February 21, 1980. It was named in honor of Tomáš Baťa (1876-1932), a world-renowned Czech businessman founder of the Bata Shoe Organization.[2]
