2017 English cricket season

The 2017 cricket season will be the 420th in England since the earliest known definite reference to cricket in January 1597 (i.e., Old Style – 1598 New Style), and the 117th in which the County Championship has been an official competition. The season, which begins on 28 March and ends on 29 September, will feature the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and international tours of England by South Africa and West Indies.[1] England will play four Test matches against South Africa and three against West Indies.
