The 2016-17 PFF Women's League season is the inaugural of the women's national league of the Philippines.[1] The season is set to start in November 12, 2016 and will last until July 16, 2017.

Format

The league follows a double round robin format. The team with the most points by the end of the season are crowned champions. The first round which which is being held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium[2] commenced in November 12, 2016 and will last until February 4, 2017.[3] The second round will start three months after the end of the first round and will be held from May 20, 2017 to July 16, 2017[3] at the Biñan Football Stadium.[2] A transfer window will be open during a given period in between the first and second rounds[1] from February to mid-May.[2]
