The 2016–17 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represent the University of Kansas in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which is the Jayhawks 119th basketball season. The Jayhawks will play their home games at Allen Fieldhouse. They will be led by 14th year head coach Bill Self and are members of the Big 12 Conference. The Jayhawks will attempt to tie UCLA's all time record for consecutive regular season conference titles with their 13th title.[1] The Jayhawks will also enter the season with 40 straight wins at Allen Fieldhouse, the longest active home arena winning streak in the nation.
