The 1917 Clemson Tigers football team represented the Clemson Tigers of Clemson Agricultural College during the 1917 college football season. Under first year head coach Edward Donahue, the team posted a 6–2 record.[1][2] F. L. Witsel was the captain.[3] Stumpy Banks scored five touchdowns against Furman for a school record.[4][5]
