Ta (Bengali)

is the sixteenth consonant in the Bengali alphabet (and by extension related scripts such as Assamese). This letter is used to represent the voiceless unaspirated laminal dental-alveolar plosive and is often used in transcribing the voiceless dental fricative in other languages.
