Yuri Albertovich Rozanov (Russian: Ю́рий Альбе́ртович Ро́занов)[1] is a Russian sports TV commentator, mainly working on broadcasts of football and ice hockey matches. Together with Sergey Crabu TEFI awarded in the category sports commentator / presenter of the sports program in 2012.[2][3][4]

Biography

Father: Albert Konstantinovich – State Counselor of Justice of the second class. Mother: Valentina Egorovna – originally from Belarus, graduated from the historical faculty of the Belarusian State University.

He studied at the secondary school № 1 in Vidnoye, Moscow Oblast. He studied at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, but did not finish it.[5]

He started his career on the channel NTV Plus.[6] Currently he is head of the Editorial Board.[7]

On September 1, 2012 he became a commentator on Ukrainian channels.[8] Left Ukraine in April 2014 due to the political situation in the country.[9]

Since November 2015, Rozanov is a commentator of football and hockey broadcasts on Match TV.[10]

He is married and has one daughter.[11]
