Wakefield City Academy (formerly Wakefield City High School) is a mixed secondary school located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England.^[1]

Previously a foundation school administered by Wakefield Council, Wakefield City High School converted to academy status in January 2011 and was renamed Wakefield City Academy. The school is now sponsored by the Wakefield City Academies Trust, but continues to coordinate with Wakefield Council for admissions.

Wakefield City Academy offers GCSEs, BTECs and City and Guilds courses as programmes of study for pupils.
