Red and Rio Grande is the first studio album from country music artist Doug Supernaw. It was released on Apr 27, 1993. and it produced four singles for Supernaw on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The first one, "Honky Tonkin' Fool", peaked at #50, while "I Don't Call Him Daddy" (previously a single for Kenny Rogers in 1988 from his I Prefer the Moonlight album) reached Number One. "Reno" was a #4 hit on the country charts, and finally "Red and Rio Grande" was a #23.

Michael McCall of Allmusic rated the album four-and-a-half stars out of five, citing "I Don't Call Him Daddy" as an "anthem" for divorced fathers.^[2]
