Family
Cicilia's wife, Barbara, is the sister of Marco Rubio. In 2011, Rubio, was a United States Senator whose name was frequently mentioned as a Vice-Presidential nominee on the Republican ticket.[1]
Real estate license
The Washington Post revealed that while he was majority whip of the Florida State Legislature Rubio wrote a letter of recommendation supporting Cicilia's application for a Florida Real Estate license.[2] Rubio did not mention in the letter that Cicilia is his brother-in-law. Failing to disclose the relationship in the letter is not illegal. [3]
