Novate Milanese is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 20,201 and an area of 5.5 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi).[1]

Novate Milanese borders the following municipalities: Bollate, Baranzate, Cormano, Milan.

Novate received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on January 16, 2004.
