Delineation

Nelson Parish is defined in the Territorial Division Act[3] as being bounded:

Northwest by the Miramichi River and the Southwest Miramichi River; southwest by Blackville Parish; southeast by a line running parallel to the Kent County line and seven miles northwesterly therefrom; and northeast by the southwest line of lot number sixty-one, granted to Wm. Brown, and its southeasterly prolongation.
