Mika Aereen Marcaliñas Reyes (born June 21, 1994) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a Middle Hitter/ Blocker and is currently playing in the semi-professional league in the Philippines, Philippine Super Liga. She is a member of the Philippines' national club team that competed in the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship under PSL Manila.

Career

Reyes was named Best Attacker at the 2013 PVF Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship[1] and Most Valuable Player in the 2015 edition.[2] Reyes won the 2014 Philippine National Games Best Blocker award.[3] She was named as the brand ambassador of the Philippine Super Liga for its 2016 season. Also, as announced on July 28, 2016, Reyes has been selected as the 7th and final volleyball player to join the Philippine special representative team to compete in the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.[4][5]

Early life

She grew up at Pulilan, Bulacan with her parents and three other siblings. Her family owns a resort named after their hometown. She finished her high school studies at St. Scholastica's College. She then got recruited and enrolled to De La Salle University. She took up AB Psychology and graduated last June 18, 2016.
