Mark Adams (born 1925 Fort Plain, New York - January 24, 2006) was an American artist.[1]
Life
He studied at Syracuse University. He studied with Hans Hofmann, and with Jean Lurçat. He began as a tapestry and stained-glass designer.
He designed the windows, for Temple Emanu-El, and Grace Cathedral, San Francisco. Later, he used watercolors.
His tapestry works are at the de Young Museum and at San Francisco International Airport.
In 1954, he married Beth Van Hoesen; they lived in San Francisco.[2]
