Mariano Di Vaio (born May 9, 1989) is an Italian blogger, fashion designer and actor. He has been employed by important brand like Hugo Boss, Maserati, Omega and Calvin Klein as ambassador. His blog, MDV Style, is one of the most popular fashion blog in the world.

His first published book is “My Dream Job”. He launched his line of jewels, MDV Jewels, a collection of shoes, MDV Shoes, and his Eyewear collection, MDV Eyewear. The first movie he had starred is “Deported”, an Hollywood production by Yoram Globus.

Career

Mariano Di Vaio was born on may 9, 1989, in Assisi. He leaves Italy soon, at the age of eighteen, to pursue his actor and model career: one year in London, working as a model, and then in New York City, to study acting at NYFA (New York Film Academy). Back to Europe, he continued his professional career as a model, quickly obtaining magazine covers and collaborations with top international brands: from the advertising of Roberto Cavalli Perfume with Elisa Seidnaoui, to campaigns with Hugo Boss, Cucinelli, Tommy Hilfiger, Omega and Cruciani. In January 2012, he opened his own blog, a digital magazine dedicated to fashion and lifestyle, in which he experiences successfully his insights and his visions.

Today, the blog is a digital magazine, a source of inspiration to millions of people in Italy and in the World, dedicated to men’s passions: from fashion to sport, and also travel, music and movies.

The website was a great, immediately success, combined with his official profiles active on social networks: Mariano has more than 8 million followers on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Today, Mariano is one of the most influent worldwide fashion bloggers and his business activities take flight. Designer of the MDV Collections, he’s now the entrepreneur of his fashion brand.

In 2016 he’s got cast in his first movie, “Deported”, an Hollywood production by Yoram Globus.

In the autumn of 2016[1] Mariano Di Vaio (in couple[2] with the dancer Stefano De Martino, former husband of Belen Rodriguez) is one of the tutors/mentors[3] of the first season of Selfie – Le cose cambiano,[4] the new talent show produced by Fascino PGT of Maria De Filippi and aired by Canale 5 with Simona Ventura as presenter.[5]

Personal life

Mariano Di Vaio has always loved the street style scene. When he was a teenager, he was a writer (he still loves street style colored murals), and a skater. He also loves sports like snowboard (he once broke his wrist snowboarding in the Alps) and surf (especially in Malibu, California), and motor sports like motocross. Mariano often attends important motor sport events like Moto GP and The 24 hours of Le Mans.

In 2015 he married lawyer Eleonora Brunacci. They’re now expecting their first son.

Mariano Di Vaio Collections

Mariano launched a jewel line presented at the Paris White Show. In 2014 he has collaborated with Cruciani launching the bracelets line “Mercury by Mariano Di Vaio”. Mariano also designed a shoes collection, MDV Shoes, presented at Pitti Immagine, with his Brand, “Mariano Di Vaio”. The made in Italy quality of the shoes makes his ready-to-wear collection of sneaker highly anticipated. In 2016 he launched the MDV Eyewear collection.

MDV Crew (Nohow)

Mariano is the leader of his own Company, MDV&CO, based in Umbria, Italy. In this little region the young entrepreneur has invested a great deal, to stimulate and promote his homeland, despite he works all over the world, in Europe, U.S.A. and Asia. MDV Crew has sixteen young persons (almost all of them are under 30s), who took part to the umbrian dream. The Company, an e-commerce called Nohow Style, is now a point of reference in worldwide men’s fashion, counting more than one million followers from all over the world.

Street Style Icon

Mariano is a street style icon since 2012, when he has created his blog. With his media channels (blog and social networks), he has become a reference point for those ho wants to follow the trends of the moment. As a fashion influencer, he creates every day outfits who inspire a hundred of people. During the Fashion Weeks and other important fashion events like Pitti Immagine, he has become one of the protagonist of street-style, combining an elegant-danty style with minimal-street details.
